Velaro was born in 2026 out of a simple frustration — and a simpler idea. We wanted to ride together, look good doing it, and not pay a fortune for the privilege.
The Origin
It started with a ride.
Not a business plan.
A Coruña has a thriving cycling scene, but it lacked something — a community that was truly open. Rides that didn't feel intimidating. A brand that reflected the real athletes on the road, not just the pros on the podium.
So we started organizing Social Rides. Weekend loops through the city, along the coast, up the hills. No one gets dropped. Coffee at the finish. Every time. The response was immediate — people were hungry for it.
The gear came next. Because if you're going to build a community, you need something to wear. We wanted to make the kind of kit we wished existed: technically serious, beautifully made, and priced for real people.
That's Velaro. An atelier, a community, and a belief that sport is better when it's shared.
What we stand for
Quality at a fair price.
Premium doesn't have to mean exclusive. We work directly with our manufacturers to cut out the middlemen and pass those savings on to the athlete. Every piece is made to last — because we hate waste as much as you do.
Sport belongs to everyone.
We didn't build Velaro for the podium. We built it for the person who wakes up at 6am on a Saturday to earn their coffee. For the beginner who's nervous about showing up. For the veteran who just wants to feel good doing what they love.
Community over competition.
Social Rides started as a way to bring people together in A Coruña. That spirit lives in everything we do — the gear, the drops, the events. When you wear Velaro, you're part of something bigger than a kit.

This is the beginning.
DROP 001 — Ice Cream Ride — is our first collection. Two maillots, designed with intention and made in limited quantities, named after the ritual that started it all. From here, we grow together.
